General Questions
The Merry Makers Market is a curated artisan market located inside the Glow Christmas Festival, Edmonton’s largest indoor holiday event. The market features handmade goods, specialty products, and select food vendors, all within a festive, family-friendly environment.
Yes. The market is juried to ensure a high standard of quality and to limit direct competition.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Yes. The Merry Makers Market typically sells out, and we often maintain a waiting list once spaces are filled. We strongly encourage vendors to apply early. Full-show vendors receive placement priority.
Location & Foot Traffic
Glow is a very large event, and the Merry Makers Market is strategically placed in Hall C, directly beside the Hall B entrance.
This placement ensures that every ticket holder walks through the market on their way to some of Glow’s most popular attractions, including:
• The Kids Zone
• The Food Truck area
This results in strong, consistent foot traffic throughout the event.

No. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Vendors will be notified once approved.
• 20% deposit due upon approval
• Final balance due November 15, 2026
Failure to pay may result in forfeiture of your booth and deposit.
Yes, with prior approval. Each business must submit a separate application, even if sharing a booth.
Food Vendors
Yes, with approval. Food vendors must:
• Hold a valid AHS Food Handling Permit
• Register with and be approved by the Edmonton EXPO Centre
• Comply with Glow, AHS, and EXPO Centre requirements
Yes. Any food packaged for consumption at Glow is subject to a 20% commission, payable to the Edmonton EXPO Centre. Vendors must provide daily sales receipts upon request.
Yes, but only with:
• An approved Food & Beverage Sampling Application (submitted at least 30 days in advance)
• EXPO Centre approval
• A rented sink and running water (provided by ShowTech)
No on-site approvals are permitted.
No. All food must be prepared in an AHS-approved kitchen. Cooking or food preparation is not permitted in the market.
Marketing & Promotion
Yes! Once approved and your deposit is received, your business will be featured on the Glow website.
To be listed, submit:
• A high-resolution logo
• A short business description (up to 20 words)
• Your website link (if applicable)
Listings may remain live for 3–6 months, depending on submission timing.
Dates & Show Options
Glow runs from December 3- 31, 2026 at the Edmonton EXPO Centre.
Vendors may choose from:
• Full Show (26 days)
• First Half Show (13 days: Nov 27 – Dec 13)
• Second Half Show (15 days: Dec 16 – Dec 31 *includes 2 bonus days at no extra cost
The second half includes two additional show days at no extra cost as an incentive, as it can be more challenging to staff and stock later in the season.
Booth Sizes & Set Up
• 10 × 10
• 10 × 15
• 10 × 20 (full show only – corner booth)
• 20 × 20 Quad Booth (full show only – corner booth)
Half-show options are available only for 10×10 and 10×15 booths.
Corner booths offer exposure to two aisles and increased guest visibility.
All 10×20 and 20×20 booths are automatically corner booths. A limited number of corner upgrades are available for smaller booth sizes.
Yes. Vendors may use their own tables. Please note that each booth includes one skirted table, which may be used instead of or in addition to your own, provided everything fits within your booth footprint and meets presentation standards.
Setup, Hours & Attendance
Yes. Children are permitted in vendor booths as long as they are supervised at all times.
Vendors are fully responsible for the safety and supervision of children in their booth space.
No. During vendor load-in and setup, no one under the age of 15 is permitted on the show floor.
Glow setup involves heavy equipment, forklifts, lifts, and moving vehicles, and the show is still under construction during this time. The Edmonton EXPO Centre strictly enforces this rule, and no exceptions will be made.
Yes. Vendors must be:
• Fully open
• Staffed
• Ready for business
at official show opening every day. Opening late or closing early is not permitted.
Glow enforces a Vendor Opening Readiness Policy:
• First occurrence: verbal warning
• Second occurrence: written warning
• Third occurrence: removal without refund and loss of future eligibility
Management reserves discretion based on severity and frequency.
Yes. Vendors are welcome to eat at their booth. Please keep food tidy and dispose of waste properly to maintain a professional appearance.
Most vendors ask a neighboring vendor to keep an eye on their booth for short durations.
If that’s not possible, a Glow Attendant may be able to stand at your booth briefly. Please note:
• Attendants cannot conduct sales or handle payments
• They will inform guests that you will return shortly
Extended or frequent absences are not permitted.
Insurance & Logistics
Yes. Vendors must carry $1 million liability insurance naming Shadow Vista Productions Ltd.
Glow partners with Duuo to offer affordable vendor insurance options.
No. Vendors must purchase pre-paid parking through the Edmonton EXPO Centre at a discounted rate. Details will be sent prior to the event.
Cancellations
What is the cancellation policy?
• 30+ days before the event: 50% refund or full credit
• Within 2 weeks of the event: no refunds; credit issued instead
Credits are valid for one year and are non-transferable.
If Glow is cancelled, vendors will receive a full refund.
